Hey everyone, it is Louise, welcome to our recipe site. Today, I’m gonna show you how to prepare a special dish, fruit cake. It is one of my favorites food recipes. For mine, I’m gonna make it a little bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Celebrate a time-honored holiday tradition: Make and gift (or eat yourself) a tasty fruitcake. A dense cake filled with dried nuts and fruits and spiked with spiced rum that just happens to be gluten free. It will change your mind on fruitcakes. Fruitcake (or fruit cake or fruit bread) is a cake made with candied or dried fruit, nuts, and spices, and optionally soaked in spirits.

Fruit cake is one of the most popular of recent trending foods in the world. It is simple, it is fast, it tastes yummy. It is enjoyed by millions daily. Fruit cake is something which I’ve loved my whole life. They are nice and they look wonderful.

To get started with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few components. You can have fruit cake using 13 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Fruit cake:
  1. Take 250 gm All-purpose Flour
  2. Prepare 200 gm Sugar -
  3. Get 4 pcs Egg
  4. Get 150 gm Orange Juice or Ram
  5. Take 200 gm Butter
  6. Make ready 50 ml Milk
  7. Take 15 pcs Almond
  8. Make ready 20 pcs Pistachios
  9. Make ready 20 pcs Cashews
  10. Prepare 20 pcs Raisins
  11. Make ready 25 gm Dry mango
  12. Take 1/2 tsp Cinnamon Powder
  13. Prepare 1/2 tsp Baking soda –

Christmas is not considered celebrated without slices of fruit cake. The cakes are done when a cake tester inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove the cakes from the oven. Fruitcake can remain in its pan for storage, if desired.

Steps to make Fruit cake:
  1. Soak tutti frutti, mango, cranberries, nuts(you can add any dry fruit according to your choice) in 1/4 cup rum or orange juice for at least 24 hours. Cover tightly, and store at room temperature.
  2. Take one large bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg
  3. Whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; mix into butter and sugar in three batches, alternating with molasses and milk. Add in soaked fruit and chopped nuts.
  4. Take a round pan and line it with parchment paper then Scrape butter into pan.Pour the mixture into prepared pan
  5. Bake in preheated oven(350 degrees F) for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes and scrape butter on the cake. Cake is ready to serve.If you want to eat later then Cut out one piece parchment paper and wrap around the cake.

Remove the cakes from the oven. Fruitcake can remain in its pan for storage, if desired. Brush the warm cake with rum or brandy. As you would expect, the Southern Supreme fruit cake uses nuts as a star ingredient. Made in North Carolina, it is a moist and chewy cake, featuring walnuts and fresh pecans mixed with golden raisins, dates, pineapple and candied cherries.
