Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; add to nut mixture, stirring until nuts and fruit are well coated.

  7. Pour the mixture in a greased pan and bake for 60 mins at 180°c or till the cake bakes.
  8. Let the cake cool once its fully baked. Transfer it into a cooling rack. You can drizzle a tot of aged whiskey on top of the cake and let it stay over night before serving. The fruit cake is yummiest after 24 hrs. Enjoy with a warm cup of tea.
