  1. Prepare 2 eggs
  2. Prepare 3/4 cup sugar
  3. Get 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
  4. Make ready 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg + dash
  5. Prepare 1/2 tsp salt
  6. Take 1 1/2 cup eggnog
  7. Make ready 1 oz brandy
  8. Make ready 3 cup day old French bread, cubed 1/2"
Instructions to make Eggnog Bread Pudding:
    1. Preheat oven to 350
  1. Lightly grease 9 x 9 cake pan
  2. Beat eggs slightly in medium bowl with wire whisk
  3. Whisk in sugar, vanilla, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, salt, eggnog, and brandy.
  4. Fold in bread cubes and let sit for 10 - 15 minutes in refrigerator.
  5. Pour bread/egg mixture into greased pan.
  6. Lightly sprinkle small amount of nutmeg over top.
  7. Bake 35 to 40 minutes, checking center with wooden toothpick.
  8. Serve warm or cold with whipped cream if desired.
