  3. Steam for 15 minutes or till the rice is fully cooked.

  5. Serve them with any chutney or sauce.

Cook, covered, on high until mixture reaches a simmer. Drop dumplings on top of simmering soup, a few at a time. Bring the water or chicken/vegetable stock to almost boiling over medium-high heat in a wide soup pan or Dutch oven. Reduce the heat to medium once the water or stock is nearly boiling.
