Hello everybody, it is me, Dave, welcome to our recipe page. Today, we’re going to prepare a distinctive dish, vegetarian bolognese sauce. It is one of my favorites food recipes. For mine, I will make it a bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Vegetarian Bolognese Sauce is one of the most popular of recent trending meals in the world. It’s simple, it’s fast, it tastes delicious. It is appreciated by millions daily. They are fine and they look fantastic. Vegetarian Bolognese Sauce is something which I’ve loved my whole life.

To begin with this particular recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can have vegetarian bolognese sauce using 14 ingredients and 7 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Vegetarian Bolognese Sauce:
  1. Prepare 6 tomato nice red
  2. Take 1 cup soy granules
  3. Make ready 3 tbsp olive oil or any cooking oil
  4. Prepare 1 onion finely chopped
  5. Make ready 2 tbsp celery stalk and leaves finely chopped
  6. Get 2 garlic finely chopped
  7. Get 1 capsicum finely chopped, I have used red capsicum. You can use green capsicum
  8. Prepare 1 tsp mixed dry herbs
  9. Make ready 1 tsp black pepper powder
  10. Make ready 1 tsp paprika or red chilli powder
  11. Prepare 170 g tomato puree
  12. Take 1/2 cup water
  13. Prepare 2 tbsp coriander washed and chopped finely. You can also use parsley if available
  14. Get As per taste salt
Steps to make Vegetarian Bolognese Sauce:
  1. Boil water in a large pan. Criss Cross the tomatoes and put into the boiling water to boil for 5-7 minutes or till the skin peels out. Drain the water and remove the tomatoes. Remove and discard the skin of the tomatoes. Now chop the tomatoes finely or crush them.
  2. Boil the soy granules in around water for 5-7 minutes. Remove the soy granules in a strainer and remove water. Squeeze excess water from the soy granules once they are cold.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onion, garlic and celery. Mix well.
  4. Cook till the onions and celery stalk are translucent. Add chopped capsicum and cook till soft. (I prefer using red capsicum as it gives nice red colour. However you can use green capsicum). Mix well and cook capsicum till they soften. Add the squeezed soya granules and mix well. Add seasoning - mixed dry herbs, paprika, black pepper powder and salt. Mix well.
  5. Add the blanched and finely chopped tomatoes. Mix well. Add tomato puree. Mix well and add around water.
  6. Simmer the sauce for 6-8 minutes or till moisture is absorbed. Finally add chopped coriander. (use parsley of available). Mix well. The vegetarian bolognese sauce is ready to use.
  7. Remove the vegetarian bolognese sauce in a bowl and use to make vegetarian spaghetti bolognese or layered lasagne.
