  1. Get 300 g Tofu

  6. Make ready 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  7. Prepare Juice of half a lemon

Steak dressing - drizzle over freshly cooked steak, and top with fresh shredded daikon (Japanese radish) for extra flair. Stir fries - pour in a few drops of ponzu just before you take off the heat. Glaze for meats - brush meat with ponzu in the last few minutes of cooking for a real flavour boost. Choose extra-firm tofu; other types will fall apart during stir-frying.

Steps to make Tofu stir fry in Ponzu dressing and fresh mint:
  1. Drain and cube the tofu
  2. Heat the oil in a small pan or wok. Add the tofu and fry until crisp and golden. Remove from the pan.
  3. Add cooked noodles or vegetable noodles to the hot pan. I used shredded carrots and cucumber. Add the remaining ingredients and the tofu back to the pan. Reduce the heat and keep the pan moving for a minute or 2. Garnish with fresh mint leaves or a herb if your choice.

Glaze for meats - brush meat with ponzu in the last few minutes of cooking for a real flavour boost. Choose extra-firm tofu; other types will fall apart during stir-frying.
