Hello everybody, it is Drew, welcome to my recipe page. Today, I will show you a way to make a special dish, french toast. It is one of my favorites. This time, I’m gonna make it a little bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Dunk each slice of bread in egg mixture, soaking both sides. Place in pan, and cook on both sides until golden. A French toast recipe without the milk for those who like a more solid French toast. My son's friends liked this recipe and would ask for the recipe to take home for their moms to make.

French Toast is one of the most popular of recent trending meals in the world. It’s simple, it’s quick, it tastes yummy. It’s appreciated by millions daily. French Toast is something which I’ve loved my entire life. They’re fine and they look wonderful.

To begin with this recipe, we have to prepare a few components. You can cook french toast using 12 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make French Toast:
  1. Make ready 8 slices bread of your choice best stale
  2. Get 2 large free range eggs
  3. Get 150 ml whole milk
  4. Make ready 1 tbsp caster sugar
  5. Make ready 250 grams raspberries
  6. Prepare (To taste you may need more or less depending on your sweet tooth)
  7. Prepare 1 tsp vanilla extract
  8. Make ready 3 tbs raspberry jam
  9. Prepare Icing sugar to serve
  10. Get Optional double cream
  11. Get Knob butter
  12. Make ready 60 grams caster sugar

If using commercially produced brioche, be sure to allow bread to become slightly stale for best results. Stir in sugar, vanilla, orange juice, and salt until well combined.

Steps to make French Toast:

  5. In a small saucepan throw in the butter, on a medium to high heat then place in the eggy bread. Depending on your hob, check underneath it to see if it’s browned probably about half a minute! When it has browned turn it over and brown the other side. Lift out and wrap in tin foil, place in the oven to keep warm. Then do the same with the other pieces of bread.
  6. Cut the bread into triangles and spoon on the berries. I made an additional double cream with icing sugar and vanilla extract too! Dust the plate with icing sugar and tuck in! Enjoy x

If using commercially produced brioche, be sure to allow bread to become slightly stale for best results. Stir in sugar, vanilla, orange juice, and salt until well combined. Dip bread in egg mixture and lay in butter. (not you-the bread!). Place a wire rack on a baking sheet, and set aside. Reheat leftovers by toasting them in a skillet with butter or giving them a zap in the microwave for about a minute.
