French toast is one of the most popular of recent trending meals on earth. It is easy, it is fast, it tastes yummy. It is enjoyed by millions every day. French toast is something which I have loved my whole life. They’re fine and they look fantastic.

Quick and Easy French Toast With so many toppings and breads there is an endless variety of French toast you can make. Cinnamon French toast, Brioche French toast, stuffed French toast and even a French toast that tastes like a Starbucks caramel macchiato. If you are feeling adventurous, you can even make French toast in a mug ! Dunk each slice of bread in egg mixture, soaking both sides.

To begin with this recipe, we must first prepare a few components. You can cook french toast using 6 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make French toast:
  1. Prepare 2 Eggs
  2. Get 1 cup Milk
  3. Get 1/4 cup Sugar
  4. Prepare 2 Sliced breads
  5. Make ready Cinnamon
  6. Take Butter

Place a wire rack on a baking sheet, and set aside. Using day-old bread from a bakery helps the French toast to be more stable. If using commercially produced brioche, be sure to allow bread to become slightly stale for best results. Reheat leftovers by toasting them in a skillet with butter or giving them a zap in the microwave for about a minute.

Steps to make French toast:
  1. Whisk together eggs, sugar, milk and cinnamon in a bowl.
  2. Cut the crusts off, dip the bread slices in egg mixture. Push it a little and soak for a while.
  3. Place it in a pan with butter. Cook on one side, pour egg mixture a little.
  4. Cook on both sides until golden brown.

If using commercially produced brioche, be sure to allow bread to become slightly stale for best results. Reheat leftovers by toasting them in a skillet with butter or giving them a zap in the microwave for about a minute. Freezing can let you keep your French toast much longer. French toast comes out best if you work with thick slices of French or Italian loaf bread that are several days old. That way they've had a chance to firm up, which will make the slices hold up better when you dip them in the egg milk mixture and fry them.
