Combine the crunch of a shortbread base with a gooey caramel middle and chocolate topping, and you have millionaire's shortbread. This Millionaires Shortbread Recipe is simple and easy to make. The most delicious and rich sweet treat, crumbly shortbread. Millionaire's shortbread is easy to make with condensed milk caramel and a buttery biscuit base.

  1. Get 225 g plain flour
  2. Take 175 g unsalted butter
  3. Prepare 75 g caster sugar

  7. Get 100 g golden syrup
  8. Get 350 g chocolate

Millionaire's Shortbread - A shortbread base topped with soft, chewy caramel and chocolate I've been hearing about millionaire shortbread for years - a layer of shortbread crust topped with chewy. Steps to make Millionaire shortbread:
  1. Pre heat oven 150c
  2. Line a baking a 9 x 12 baking tray
  3. Cut butter into cubes and place in a large bowl add sugar and flour then rub together to form fine bread crumbs put into baking tray and press firmly to make the base
  4. Place in oven and bake for 30 mins
  5. Allow to cool
  6. Place butter condensed milk and syrup in a large saucepan and on a low heat stirring continuously untill it thickens and goes a caramel colour….try not to rush as it can burn
  7. Allow to cool slightly. pour over the base allow to cool down
  8. Melt chocolate in a bowl over simmering water and then pour over caramel
  9. Allow to set before cutting i put mine in the fridge
  10. Remove from baking tray and cut into squares.
  11. They will last upto 5 days in an air tight container
  12. I sprinkle a liitle bit of edible gold glitter to bling them
