The ingredients needed to make Classic Mushroom Omelette:
  1. Prepare 2-3 large Mushrooms
  2. Prepare 50 Grams Butter
  3. Make ready 3 large Eggs
  4. Get Pinch Salt

The British spelling, omelette, is actually the modern French spelling. Mushrooms are the most versatile of ingredients, with a meaty texture and a rich, deep flavor ideal for vegetarian dishes. When the foam subsides, add the mushrooms and sauté until they're nicely browned and tender, adding butter if needed. A hearty but healthy breakfast or brunch omelet, filled with cheese, mushrooms, spinach, and peppers.

Steps to make Classic Mushroom Omelette:
  1. Wipe the mushrooms free from bits and pieces, do NOT wash them! Pull apart with fingers, or slice if desired. Place in a large fry pan.
  2. Add the butter and heat slowly, stirring the butter into the Mushrooms.
  3. Crack the eggs into a cup and whisk with a fork, tip over the nearly - cooked Mushrooms and stir well.
  4. Cook until the eggy liquid has gone solid and flip over to brown off the other side, for about 5 minutes. (Yep, mine fell apart, but still edible!!)
  5. Serve hot, with a sprinkle of Salt if that is your taste!! Enjoy!!

A hearty but healthy breakfast or brunch omelet, filled with cheese, mushrooms, spinach, and peppers. Serve with a slice of whole grain toast and fruit. This dish is not only appealing to the eye, it's delicious to the taste buds. When eggs are still a bit runny, top with parsley and reserved mushroom mixture; finish omelette in.
