  5. Take 3 tbsps broth
  6. Get 1 tsp chia seeds
  7. Get 1 tsp chilli seeds

  10. Prepare 4 cups kale leaves, chopped
  11. Make ready 1 tbsp raisins or sultanas
  12. Prepare 1 tbsp almonds, chopped
  13. Take 1 1/2 cups black beans, rinsed and drained
  14. Make ready 1/2 cup grated carrot
  15. Prepare 1/2 cup low sodium cheese or 1 cup cooked chicken
  16. Take 1/2 cup chick peas
  17. Get 1/2 cup parsley, shredded
  18. Prepare 1/4 cup mint leaves, shredded
  19. Make ready 1 tbsp mixed seeds such as pumpkin, sesame, sunflower
  20. Prepare few grinds of black pepper
Steps to make Ja'far salad #ramadan:
  1. Whisk together the dressing ingredients and allow to stand until the chia seeds start to thicken the dressing.
  2. Place the kale in a large serving bowl. Add half of the dressing and massage it into the kale - the longer one massages it, the better it will taste. It's very therapeutic!
  3. Add the quinoa, raisins, almonds, black beans, carrot, cheese or chicken, chick peas and herbs along with the remaining dressing.
  4. Sprinkle with the seeds and a grind of pepper.
