Hello everybody, hope you’re having an amazing day today. Today, we’re going to make a distinctive dish, tofu sub. One of my favorites. For mine, I’m gonna make it a bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Tofu sub is one of the most favored of recent trending meals in the world. It’s easy, it’s fast, it tastes delicious. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. Tofu sub is something which I’ve loved my entire life. They’re fine and they look fantastic.

To get started with this particular recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can have tofu sub using 6 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Tofu sub:
  1. Get 200 g regular tofu
  2. Take 1 egg
  3. Take 1 medium chilli, chopped fine
  4. Make ready 5 tbsp breadcrumbs
  5. Get 1/2 tsp salt
  6. Get 1/2 tsp pepper

Tofu is one of those foods that sparks debate. Some can't rave enough about its health benefits, while others declare that it is a genetically-modified poison. I subbed sherry for Chinese vinegar and Sambal Oelek for whole chilies (which I find Tofu is excellent in Chinese stir fries, and kung pao sauce is perfect for tofu. Tofu - silken tofu will not work for this dish as it will literally fall apart as you stir it while cooking.

Instructions to make Tofu sub:
  1. Place the tofu in a cheesecloth and drain the water from it. Once it's will drained, gently crumble it into small pieces in a large bowl.
  2. Add egg, chopped chilli, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper and mix well.
  3. Measure out 1.5 tbsp of the mixture and use the palms of your hand to shape them into mini patties.
  4. In a non-stick pan, fry both sides till lightly golden and crispy.
  5. Serve in a roll on a bed of lettuce, tomato, carrots and a generous amount of drizzled tahini to top it off.

I subbed sherry for Chinese vinegar and Sambal Oelek for whole chilies (which I find Tofu is excellent in Chinese stir fries, and kung pao sauce is perfect for tofu. Tofu - silken tofu will not work for this dish as it will literally fall apart as you stir it while cooking. This dish is traditionally made with. Cube tofu and add to a medium mixing bowl. Season with curry powder, coconut aminos, sea salt, and I subbed baby kale for spinach and tempeh for tofu.
